MHSA's Annual General Meeting

The AGM is the highest body within the Association during which the outgoing Executive Board presents the work achieved during this term. FHS students have the opportunity to review the work of the Association and vote accordingly.

Delegates interested in contesting for the MHSA Executive Board are invited to fill a nomination form, which should be signed by the nominee, a proponent and secondant. The proponent must be a delegate of MHSA and the secondant must be a MHSA Executive Board member.

This year the AGM will take place online, therefore, all nomination forms must be sent to the Chairperson by email during the AGM.

All students are invited to the AGM however only MHSA members are allowed to vote, hence, identification must be presented on arrival. A link to attend the AGM will be available on the day.

Following is the agenda of the AGM pursuant to sub-article 4.4:
4.4.1 Appointment of Chairperson
4.4.2 Approval of the minutes
4.4.3 Matters arising
4.4.4 Reading of the Faculty Student Representative’s /
Representatives’ report
4.4.5 Reading and approval of the MHSA Executive members report.
4.4.6 Reading and approval of the Financial report
4.4.7 Reading and approval of the Secretary General’s report
4.4.8 Reading and approval of Vice-President’s report
4.4.9 Reading and approval of the President’s report
4.4.10 Vote on motions brought forward to the General Meetings and amendments to statute.
4.4.11 Appointment of electoral commissioner when the nominations received exceeds the number of posts available to form the new EB. If an election is not required, the new board members are approved. If an election is required the AGM follows article 5.
